Upgrad Question

I am about to upgrade my Alienware x15, I currently have a 720qm, I am not sure if I should buy a i7-940XM or i7-2820QM. Could someone help me, I am basically aiming in a good laptop for games and streaming.



I also would like to know if there is any issue to simple change my processor, Thanks !

Only the 940XM will work in the M15x. The 2820QM and other Sandy Bridge CPU's use a different socket and are not compatible with the M15x. Unfortunately.

Get an es 920xm same performance as the 940xm with a much cheaper price.
