Call of Duty 3 ps2 online problems

I somehow can't get connected to the the network on call of duty 3 ps2 multiplayer. It's been working fine for almost a month now but the freezes now everytime it says connecting to network. Is this a problem with the disc, connection signal, the ps2, or the call of duty 3 network? For people who have experienced this problem before, how have you fixed this? How should I troubleshoot this problem?

I am having the same problems, i have been connecting great for 3 weeks and all of a sudden this weekend i cannot connect. i have tried multiple PS2's and Different IP addresses, and it freezes at the screen

Finally hooked up my sons PS2 through the router, cannot get online with COD3, Madden 07 works fine. I did some port forwarding on my router with port 3074 as stated by activision.. Still did not have any luck. In any case I am glad to see that someone else has had an issue (thought i was going crazy for a while)..

Guess someone needs to contact activision...

It could be...I connected my ps2 online using my laptop, connected an ethernet cable from ps2 to the laptop and used the laptop's wirless connection to my router 50 feet away from my room.
So it was working great with flat out 2, fifa 06 and some other, but when I tried call of duty 2 it didnt work, so I hooked it up directly from the router to my ps2 and it worked just fine, so yesterday I tried to connect with call of duty 3 and it didnt work either, but I ll try to do it directly to the router and see if it works that way.

Finally connected into Network, however when trying to Join a Game get a nasty No sessions available message, naturally after waiting 5 minutes.

everything else works fine as far as connecting and authenticating. I am going to try using a hub from the cbl modem instead of the router (after turning PC off of course).

guys when i try to go online it says something for "playsttion2 disc information error"
is there a fix??
