Trial version of Office Publisher 2007??

Hi all, I have Microsoft Office 2007 Student Version installed on my computer and have just been sent a load of stuff which requires Publisher 2007 to open them. I have tried to download a trial version of publisher, but I keep getting the 2010 version which, in turn, says it cannot add itself onto my existing 2007?? version. Is there anything else (another generic software perhaps)that I can use to open these files with please.
Regards,
Bill.

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/publisher-help/where-is-the-publisher-viewer-HA010233906.aspx tells what to ask the sender if it can't be solved at the receiving side (that is, with you).

The system requirements for Publisher 2010 on http://www7.buyoffice.microsoft.com/usa/product.aspx?sku=10234421&cache=-1905222315&culture=en-us don't say anything about Office 2010 being installed as a prerequisite. But if you find it isn't possible to install it when you only have Office 2007 I have to believe you (didn't try). What is the exact error message, by the way? I don't think it is "I can not add myself to your existing 2007?? version."

Installing the Office 2010 trial would be another option, but I wouldn't recommend that if you have a working and satisfactory 2007 version at theis same computer.

I have now managed to download a trial version of Microsoft Publisher 2007 which has enabled me to open up the files that were sent to me. It is only a 30 day trial version but it will do for now. I have tried to use my key gen that came with my original Office 2007, but it does not work! AH well, anything is better than nothing.
Many thanks anyway.
Bill.

Sorry but KeyGens are piracy tools.

We can't discuss such in these forums so I am locking this thread.
