usb wireless adapter attached to active usb extender cable?

I have a computer in a guesthouse about 50' from my broadband modem with wireless capabilities that is in the main house (with thick adobe walls). The usb wireless adapter attached to the computer in the guesthouse will not pick up the signal. Can I attach the wireless adapter to an active usb 2.0 extender cable to position the adapter close to the wireless signal from the modem? the adapter is a Trendnet TEW 424 UB and it consumes max about 450 mA of power.

You have to try and see. No maker will tell you it will work.

I have no proper idea about it. But you have to take help of any good computer networking specialist.

I think using wireless usb 2.0 extender which works on the usb 2.0 protocol for signal transmission over longer distances.
