Problem installing Service Pack 1

I'ml trying to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 but I every time the machine reboots during installation I get an error and it removes any changes made. When I reboot my PC again and log in I get another error, when I click details it says "ERROR_PATH_NOT_FOUND(0x80070003)", any suggestions to how I should solve this?

in Google for this ERROR_PATH_NOT_FOUND(0x80070003), but they differ so I will let you have a look and see if any look promising to you.
